Abdelhadi El Bguir
Ph.D Researcher
Abdelhadi El Bguir is a PhD researcher in cognitive science at the School of Collective Intelligence, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Rabat. His research examines individual differences in learning to inform evidence-based pedagogy and educational policy. Drawing on learning sciences, educational psychology, and human-AI interaction, he investigates how learner characteristics shape engagement, collaboration, and performance. Using rigorous experimental designs and state-of-the-art analytical methods, his work focuses on designing adaptive and personalized learning systems that are both accessible and scalable.

Saad Sakhi
Full stack developer
Saad Sakhi is a Full Stack Developer collaborating with HAIIL lab on the design and development of intelligent educational tools. He is responsible for building and integrating both front-end and back-end components of our systems, ensuring scalable architecture, efficient data management, and smooth user experiences. His work supports the development of AI-driven applications for learning analytics and inclusive education technologies. Through close collaboration with the research team, Saad helps translate research concepts into functional, reliable, and user-centered digital solutions.

Adaleta Gicić
Research Scientist (PhD)
Adaleta Gicić is a Development Lead and Lead Data Scientist at Endava, a global technology services company headquartered in London. She has 20+ years of experience in software engineering and applied AI/ML, delivering production-grade solutions on Azure and AWS for global, market-leading clients, often number one in their respective industries, across finance, banking, crypto trading, healthcare, telecommunications, IoT, and digital platforms. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. Her work focuses on deep learning for temporal and tabular data (LSTM/BiLSTM), trustworthy and explainable AI (SHAP/LIME), and distributed and federated learning. Her doctoral research included privacy-preserving breast cancer classification for early diagnosis and clinical decision support.

Adam Amrid
Master student
Adam ADMIR joined the School of Collective Intelligence in 2024 to pursue a Master's degree in Collective Intelligence. He earned both his DUT in Computer Engineering and his Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and Advanced Administration of Systems and Networks from the Ecole Supérieure de Technologie de Casablanca. Adam is currently completing his end-of-studies internship with Professor FatimaZzahra BENMARRAKCHI, where his research focuses on AI in Education.

FatimaEzzahra Benmarrakchi
Assistant Professor
FatimaEzzahra Benmarrakchi is the founding director of HAIIL research lab and an Assistant Professor at the School of Collective Intelligence (SCI) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Rabat. Her research lies at the intersection of education, psychology, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on designing and studying technology-enhanced learning environments that support both cognitive and social development. A central theme of her work is inclusive education, particularly the use of AI-driven tools to support learners with diverse needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, and ASD. She is also interested in cross-cultural and multilingual perspectives on learning challenges, examining how cognitive and learning differences manifest across diverse educational and cultural contexts.

Ph.D Researcher
Samuel Segun Omotunde is a Doctoral student at the Institute of Education Sciences, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Rabat, working at the intersection of Technopedagogy and artificial intelligence in education. His research critically examines the transformative potential of Artificial intelligence to augment teaching, learning, and assessment, with a particular emphasis on ethically grounded, pedagogical innovation. He previously completed his Master's degree at the School of Collective Intelligence, where he investigated the dynamics of small-group collaboration, using interactive game-based environments to study how teams coordinate, make decisions, and enhance collective performance.
